Dunwoody Police and the DeKalb Fire Department rescued two boys who broke into Brook Run Park’s Tree Top Quest attraction around 7 p.m. on Oct. 23 and got stuck on one of its zip lines.
“We responded to Brook Run Park regarding two juvenile males that were stuck on a zip line at Tree Top Quest,” Dunwoody Police Sgt. Tim Fecht said. “The juveniles advised they found some harnesses on the ground and decided to try and zip line although the attraction was closed.”
The boys became stuck on the attraction for more than an hour before DeKalb Fire Rescue personnel were able to free them.
“No injuries were sustained,” Fecht said. “The juveniles were released to their parents.”
Witnesses at the scene said the boys were around 10 years old.
