One person sustained a minor injury in the crash, according to police.
A Newton man is facing charges after he allegedly rear-ended an MBTA bus in Harvard Square while driving with a suspended license and then fled the scene on foot.
Transit police said the crash happened around 9:30 a.m. on Monday near the intersection of Brattle and Mount Auburn streets. The 36-year-old man, whose name was not released by police, was located by officers after he abandoned the car and was arrested. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Police said one person sustained a minor injury in the crash.
The man is charged with leaving the scene, use without authority, and operating with a suspended license, according to Transit police.
