Venomous flying spiders to spread along East coast, scientists say

The Joro spider is a venomous flying spider that will spread along the East coast this summer, scientists say. The colorful critters have a four-inch leg span and use a technique called ballooning, where they release silk threads that catch the wind, blowing them as high as 3 miles into the air.
