The Game Show Challenge, an interactive experience where guests can play as game show contestants, is set to open at Atlanta development Lee + White in late 2024.
This will mark the third venue for the game show concept, joining already-established locations in Columbia and Greenville, South Carolina.
The Game Show Challenge will feature two studios where Atlantans can participate in TV game show-style trivia, word puzzles and “spin-the-wheel” challenges, among others.
Games will be set up to accommodate around six to 14 contestants, although they can handle larger groups as well, according to a release.
“Lee + White is a perfect fit for us. We love to be in areas like this with a steady flow of people,” said Josh Brickey, managing partner of The Game Show Challenge. “This is a great opportunity for us to be in a redeveloped space with a lot of character, surrounded by a great mix of tenants in a part of town that’s rejuvenating.”
The newest addition to Lee + White will be located in the development’s Building 1000, situated next to Monday Night Brewing and Grady’s new neighborhood health center.
Securing the lease for the 3,889-square-foot space was Kelly Wilson — senior vice president with Ackerman Retail — on behalf of Lee + White’s owners, Ackerman & Co. and MDH Partners.
“We’re excited that The Game Show Challenge is joining the lineup at Lee + White,” said Wilson. “The Game Show Challenge will bring an engaging experience to Lee + White, perfect for visitors who want to mix in a fun activity while enjoying the restaurants, breweries and other retailers at Lee + White and for workgroups looking for a fun team-building activity.”
Once open, The Game Show Challenge will join a growing roster of retailers, breweries, food hall tenants and other businesses located at Lee + White.
Among the businesses already occupying or set to occupy the adaptive reuse space include Best End Brewing, Doux South Pickles, JTEC Energy Inc., KIPP Schools, The Overlook Boulder + Fitness, as well as Atlanta Golf & Social — a concept, which signed a lease this past July, that combines indoor golf simulators with a casual bar experience.
