– Rough Draft Atlanta

A twist of fate that lands three children in a Norse paradise fueled by magic, a dystopian romance between a renegade memory merchant and a handsome rookie officer and two friends determined to chronicle the human race on film in the wake of a “squirrel-pocalypse.”

The top logo is for the Decatur Book Festival (DBF), featuring three circular stamps in green, red, and orange with the letters D, B, and F respectively. Below this is the logo for "RoughDraft atlanta" in black text. At the bottom of the image is an illustration of diverse hands holding up various colorful books, suggesting a community of readers.

David Arnold, Cinda Williams Chima and Jill Tew delve into how they blend scientific and imaginative elements within their distinct worlds crafted for young adult readers. They also discuss how their books navigate the captivating boundaries between fantasy and science fiction.

The panel discussion will be held on Sat., Oct. 5 at 2:45 PM at the Children & Young Adult Stage in the Lower Level of the First Baptist Church of Decatur. Following the panel, authors will proceed to signing tables to autograph books.

Purchase your book through Brave + Kind Books via this link, and they will donate a portion of the proceeds back to the festival.
