Philly ports prep for impact of Baltimore bridge collapse
In the wake of the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, shipping routes and highway traffic will be disrupted for the foreseeable future, and Philly officials are preparing to adjust for the economic changes.
First, officials expressed confidence in the safety of the river crossings at Commodore Barry and Betsy Ross bridges. The Port of Philadelphia also anticipated the likely need to absorb rerouted shipping routes. [WHYYx2]
Fishtown couple’s love of sneakers and coffee leads to joint cafe
Sneakerheads and caffeine connoisseurs gain a shared destination with Encanto Kicks & Coffee, the recently opened café, sneaker and apparel store at 2110 E Norris Street in Fishtown.
