The 10th anniversary Oakhurst Porchfest will have the Decatur neighborhood rocking on Saturday, Oct. 19, with more than 200 bands scheduled to perform.
The free event will see an eclectic array of bands performing on front porches and yards of homes across Oakhurst from noon to 7 p.m.

Organizers urge attendees to consider walking, biking, ridesharing, scootering, or taking MARTA. For Uber or Lyft drop-off and pick-up, consider The Imperial pub at 726 West College Avenue, Decatur, GA 30030 on the north side or Perc Coffee at 2380 Hosea L Williams Dr NE #3, Atlanta, GA 30317 on the south side.
While there will be food and drinks available along the streets from “grassroots” hosts and providers, Porchfest is also encouraging music lovers to support local Oakhurst neighborhood restaurants.
One suggestion is grabbing takeaway items from Oakhurst Market, Hop N Shop, Ale Yeah!, or Wahoo! Wine and Provisions. Just remember that all of the venues are someone’s yard so be sure to clean up after yourself.
