NYPD searching for 2 suspected dognappers after Dachshund purloined from Bronx home


Police are asking the public to look out for a pair of suspects who allegedly stole a Dachshund named Milkshake from a Bronx building earlier this month.

The 10-year-old brown and white pooch was in the lobby of her building on Tiffany Street and Westchester Avenue in Longwood at around 8 p.m. on May 4th when the two people allegedly ran off with her, police said.

One of the suspects was shown in police surveillance photos with long braided hair dyed red, a black jacket, blue jeans, and black and white sneakers.

The other suspect had short black curly hair with a red patch, and was wearing a white shirt, black pants and black sneakers.
