Leadership Perimeter recently introduced its 2025 class featuring 44 experienced and emerging leaders embarking on a nine-month community development program.

The organization – which serves Brookhaven, Dunwoody, and Sandy Springs – develops and inspires leaders to serve their communities.

“The class is made up of dynamic and engaged community members and we’re thrilled for them to fully launch their experience with the opening retreat,” said LP Program Director Catherine Lautenbacher in a press release.

Monthly program days and special events are held to inform class members about communities within the Perimeter. The events are designed to enrich their civic comprehension and engagement, connect with leaders across many sectors, further develop leadership skills and encourage further community involvement.

Executive Director Rosalyn Putnam said, “Leadership Perimeter demonstrates how communities and their leaders can collaborate to enhance their cities as well as those around them.”

Leadership skills are enhanced as the program fosters the importance of community and working together, she said. Leadership Perimeter helps create the community. More than 800 alumni throughout the region are using the skills, knowledge and relationships developed in the program to help their communities thrive, she said.
