Beginning Monday, Oct. 21, at 8 p.m., one left-lane will be closed on I-85 Northbound Frontage Road from SR 42/North Druid Hills Road to Tullie Circle. The closure will last 50 days.
The closure is part of a reconfiguration at North Druid Hills Road an I-85. The Georgia Department of Transportation plans to improve the I-85 and North Druid Hills Road intersection by adding a displaced left turn, constructing an additional bridge over the interstate, and creating a braided ramp similar to Ashford Dunwoody Road at I-285.
GDOT recommends that motorists should expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones.
Real-time traffic conditions can be accessed by calling 511, visiting www.511ga.org, or downloading the Georgia 511 app.
