Watch the Champions League final at Elephant & Castle

The final game of Europe’s most prestigious club soccer tournament is shaping up to be an exciting one. Real Madrid, who eliminated defending champions Manchester City earlier in the tournament, is up against Borussia Dortmund, the underdog but a massive team with a loyal fanbase, hoping for their second title. Elephant & Castle regularly shows games and the Champions League final is expected to be one of their most popular. June 1 at 3 p.m.; 161 Devonshire St.; Downtown Boston; Free

Celebrate Greek Heritage Night at Fenway Park

Former Red Sox first baseman Harry Agganis, “The Golden Greek,” was a proud member of New England’s large Greek community. Come celebrate his legacy and Greek heritage at Fenway Park as the Boston Red Sox take on the Atlanta Braves. Tickets to this game will benefit Alpha Omega Council charities and get you a special edition Red Sox Greek celebration jersey. There will also be a special pregame ceremony honoring the Greek community and traditional Greek dancers will be performing on Jersey Street. See a fashion show in Downtown Boston

The Downtown Boston Business Improvement District will be hosting a fashion show in Downtown Crossing. Presented by Boston Fashion Week, this open-air fashion show will showcase the work of local clothing designers as models walk the runway. There will also be a panel of fashion industry leaders providing live commentary during the show. June 6 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.; intersection of Washington Street and Franklin Street; Downtown Boston; Free

Stretch it out in the Seaport

Explore the health benefits of yoga with this class hosted at the Summer Street Steps every Friday at noon throughout the month of June. Learn new poses to stretch your muscles and improve your breathing, while listening to relaxing music. The event will also feature free samples from Lifeway Kefir, showcasing their protein-packed and probiotic kefir drinks. Advance registration is required to attend. Watch the Boston Pride Parade

Come celebrate LGBTQ+ pride with Boston’s Pride for the People parade. The parade will begin at Copley Square, and weave through the South End, a historical center of Boston’s LGBTQ+ population. Finish the fun at Boston Common, with a festival featuring a performance from local and national entertainers. Later in the afternoon, Boston City Hall will also host a 21-plus block party. Father’s Day Brunch Cruise

Celebrate dad with this very special brunch cruise around the Boston Harbor. Take in beautiful views of the Boston skyline, famous landmarks such as the USS Constitution, and the Seaport from the ship’s open-air decks. Explore the library’s LGBTQIA+ Pride special collections

Civic Engagement

Attend the Allston-Brighton Resource Fair

Join Allston-Brighton residents, lawmakers, and volunteers to connect with the community and share resources and opportunities in both neighborhoods. This event is hosted by the Allston-Brighton Health Collaborative, a community advocacy group, and will include free food, drink, and ice cream, and activities for kids. June 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; 326 Washington St., Brighton

Rise up for youth mental health

The city’s Center for Behavioral Health and Wellness will host a youth mental health summit for teens ages 14 to 18, parents, caregivers, educators, and mental health providers at South Boston non-profit Artists For Humanity. Learn how you can help bridge the gaps needed to support young people through school and home life, share your experiences at interactive sessions, and enjoy some food and live music. June 3 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.; 100 West 2nd St., South Boston

Boston’s Community Preservation Office supports “historic preservation, affordable housing, open space, and recreation” in all of Boston’s neighborhoods. This month, they’ll host an open session to share how funds will be used in 2025. Come by to meet the team, learn about the state statute that makes their work possible, and discover how you can get involved in preservation projects in your own community. Give your input on the $44-million Blue Hill Avenue redesign

Earlier this year, the city announced a Blue Hill Avenue redesign that promises to “create safer conditions for pedestrians and drivers, increase the tree canopy, and install new amenities for a more vibrant small business corridor.” As those improvements get underway, city officials invite residents to attend pop-ups workshops throughout the month at Roxbury, Dorchester, and Mattapan bus stops, train stations, parks, and local businesses. Get an update on the Reparations Task Force

The Boston City Council will hold a hearing to discuss the Reparations Task Force, including its proposal process and community inclusion efforts with civil rights. The task force was first established in 2022 to advise Mayor Michelle Wu on healing racial inequities for descendants of slavery and said earlier this year that it would not be able to complete its work by the previous end-of-year target. Members of the public are invited to attend this session and testify either in person or virtually. The public can also watch a livestream of this hearing. Deliver food pantry items for the Hyde Park Food Pantry

The Hyde Park Food Pantry is looking for volunteers to help with food pantry deliveries on Wednesday mornings. The role involves driving your own vehicle to the Greater Boston Food Bank, picking up the week’s groceries, and delivering them to the pantry in Hyde Park. Flex your green thumb and enjoy fresh food at Eastie Farm

Eastie Farm is a community-based, non-profit organization that focuses on climate justice, food security, and community resilience through urban farming and education. Volunteers can participate in Eastie Farm’s Volunteer Work Parties every Wednesday at one of three farm sites in East Boston. Meet other volunteers, get their hands dirty, and enjoy fresh food. June 5, 12, 19, 26; Multiple locations in East Boston

Be an event guide at the Special Olympics Massachusetts Summer Games

The Summer Games is the largest event Special Olympics Massachusetts runs each year, with more than 1,500 athletes and Unified Partners, and 1,000 volunteers descending on the Harvard University Athletic Complex in Allston for three days of inclusion, sports, and fun. Single-day volunteers are needed to help with several different roles: Medical volunteers help with any injury or medical related situations during the event; track and field guides bring athletes to their track or field events when it’s their turn to compete; and swim event volunteers help bring swimmers to their lanes and record their time. Pick up litter, natural debris at the city’s biggest waterfront park

Boston Harbor Now and the Boston Parks and Recreation Department are holding a clean-up event at Moakley Park in South Boston. The volunteer session is two hours long and will require picking up litter and natural debris. All necessary tools, including gloves, pickers, bags, sharp containers, and safety instructions will be provided. Make sure to wear work clothes and close-toed shoes you wouldn’t mind getting wet or dirty. June 15, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.; 450 Old Colony Ave., South Boston

Help out at the annual 2024 Boston 10K

Boston Athletic Association’s annual 10k runs through Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood. Volunteers are needed to help athletes check bags, set-up food and beverage products, assist with the flow of various entrances and exits, distribute T-shirts to participants, provide athletes with direction and support along the course, set up medical equipment and provide medical assistance, and assist with race day communications as an Amateur Radio Volunteer. Prepare meals for individuals with critical and chronic illnesses

Community Servings is holding a volunteering and cooking class event, hosted by the Community Servings Young Leaders. Volunteers are needed in the kitchen to prepare meals for individuals experiencing critical and chronic illnesses. The meals are made from scratch and meet the medical and nutritional needs of customers with HIV/AIDS, cancer, kidney disease, diabetes, and other life-threatening illnesses. After volunteering, Community Servings’ registered dietitian nutritionists will lead a “summer cookout” themed demo on different protein-packed vegetarian recipes. Restock pantry shelves, prepare bags for distribution at the Catholic Charities’ Yawkey Food Pantry

Catholic Charities Boston is seeking volunteers for the Yawkey Food Pantry in Dorchester. Volunteers will restock pantry shelves, help with product selection, prepare bags for distribution, assist with client intake, complete some light cleaning, and help lift and transport light to moderately-heavy items. The Yawkey Food Pantry serves many Hispanic, Haitian, and Cape Verdean clients, so language skills in these areas are highly desired. Multiple dates and times; 185 Columbia Rd., Dorchester
