Tension in the area has increased due to the attack by Houthis. The Iran-backed organization has been targeting commercial and military shipping since November last year. The Houthis had initially said they would only target ships belonging to Israel in a show of solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza. But later he also included the ships of Britain and America in his targets.

Recently, America, along with Britain, had carried out air strikes on the positions of Houthi rebels in Yemen. However, despite this, Houthi rebels are not desisting from targeting commercial ships passing through international shipping routes. Now the fear of increasing tension in the region has increased due to the death of sailors in the attack by Houthi rebels.
