The Healey administration’s disclosure that more than 20 people have been booted from migrant shelters in Massachusetts raises more troubling questions about the aggressive program to house the influx of migrants into the state.

What exactly are the “inappropriate actions” that are getting people removed and sent to homeless shelters?

Why aren’t the people being kicked out of the shelters being prosecuted? Is Healey releasing dangerous people out on the street? Are these sex offender cases?

But there are no answers – in fact the administration blacked out relevant information on one case as to the reasons behind the person being sent out to the street.

“The reason for the separate placement of (redacted name) is based on (redacted),” that letter from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities reads.

Who are they protecting? Not the victims, that’s for sure.

Healey seems to be so terrified of bad publicity surrounding migrants that the administration won’t act against them or make the program look bad.

The veil of secrecy continues and it looks like the program is endangering the public. The lack of accountability from the Democratic governor is staggering.

If someone is bad enough to be tossed out of the shelter and relocated, the public should be made aware.

The Herald obtained ejection letters through a public records request after finding out that a 29-year-old man was reportedly booted from a hotel housing migrant families in Marlboro, as a 16-year-old girl staying at the hotel got a restraining order against him.

Why aren’t the people being kicked out referred to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)?

It’s a big question for ICE, too. What are they doing besides sitting on their hands? Why aren’t they demanding the state refer them to the agency? Because it’s the Biden administration, that’s why.
