McDaniel’s QN2 of Sandy Springs served 200 meals to Asheville, North Carolina residents recovering from Hurricane Helene’s destruction on Oct. 6.

The local barbecue restaurant partnered with Archetype Brewing in Asheville, according to a news release. Archetype has served as a communal gathering space since the storm, providing supplies, water, and power. Visitors can power their devices while at Archetype.

Owner Glenn McDaniel, a Furman University grade, said he and his family were eager to help fellow alumni and Archetype co-owner Brad Casanova in their community outreach.

McDaniel’s QN2 continues to partner with Archetype Brewing to help those residents who are recovering from Hurricane Helene. In exchange for a $20 donation while at the restaurant to the relief fund, guests will get a free four-pack of Archetype Beers (while supplies last). Archetype Brewing will use the funds to replenish the supplies that they distribute.
