BASEBALL

In the Commonwealth Athletic Conference, senior lefty Matt Flynn tossed an abbreviated five-inning no-hitter, carrying Shawsheen (3-1) to a 10-0 shutout of Greater Lawrence.

Randen May went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a triple and four RBI, pacing Bishop Feehan in a 15-4 nonleague win over Dighton-Rehoboth. … David Castillo hit a two-run home run and pitched four innings in relief, steering Boston English (4-0) toward a 3-2 win over Boston Latin.

BOYS LACROSSE

In the Merrimack Valley Conference, sophomore Kam Tremblay (nine goals, two assists) continued his incredible start, including the 100th goal of his career, as Billerica rolled to a 21-8 victory over North Andover.

Jackson McClay (hat trick) and Henri Barriere (two goals) each had great days on the offensive end, boosting Archbishop Williams in a 7-6 Catholic Central League win over Arlington Catholic.

In nonleague action, Peyton Volz (six goals, three assists), Brendan Cooper (hat trick), Colin Penticost (hat trick) and Sean Pechulis (two goals) scored for Southeastern in a 14-5 win over Upper Cape.

In the Cape Ann League, Quinn Brady buried five goals and added an assist, while Mac Edgerton provided a hat trick as Manchester Essex (3-1) coasted to an 18-2 victory over rival Hamilton-Wenham.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Ava Nason (eight goals) and Cassidy Cheney (three goals) set the tone for St. Mary’s (Lynn) in an 11-8 nonleague win over Malden Catholic. Sixth-grader Emerson Hinchion recorded her first win in goal. … Kayla Isleib struck for five goals, and Erin Cottam and Kit Perron dished three assists each as Oliver Ames defeated Middleboro, 17-10. … Junior Karino Bosco registered a six-goal performance, and added one assist as Dighton-Rehoboth (2-1) defeated Taunton, 14-11. … Meghan Lesniak (three goals, two assists), Emma Finch and Tyra Medina each finished with a hat trick, as Greater Lowell (2-1) erupted for a 16-2 win over Assabet Valley. … Sophie Bovill netted three goals, and Sofia Grasso had two goals and two assists as South Shore Voke (5-0) bested East Bridgewater, 9-2. … Avery Regan (five goals, two assists) and Aine Norton (four goals) carried things offensively, leading Cohasset to a 16-9 victory over Weymouth.

SOFTBALL

Sophomore Caitlin Sweeney finished 3-for-3 at the plate, launching a homer while finishing with six RBI as Boston Latin rolled to a 15-5 victory over nonleague foe Brookline.

Izzy Levasseur homered and struck out 13, while Lexi LeBlanc (four RBI) and Celia Tavares (home run) had good offensive performances as well for Amesbury in a 12-3 Cape Ann League victory over Georgetown.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Aldenis Naula collected 13 service points, while Keegan Doherty had four aces and 11 kills as Greater Lawrence (5-2) swept Wakefield 3-0 in a nonleague contest. … Yasiel Rodriguez provided 29 assists, and Ian Hoskins notched 17 kills as Dighton-Rehoboth (6-1) edged Nipmuc, 3-2. … Danny Matuszek dished 34 assists, mainly finding Chris Milfort (18 kills) and Josh Sanon (15 kills) as Durfee defeated Braintree, 3-1. … Senior captain James Shriver finished with 18 digs, while junior Liam Poole tallied nine kills to propel BC High to a 3-1 victory over Cambridge.
