Dumpling Factory, the new restaurant from Northern China Eatery owner Fan Zhang, is opening at Westside Paper on July 5.

The restaurant is taking over the former space for Boxcar Betty, which closed in March after less than a year at the complex. The eatery is expected to feature several of Northern China Eatery’s menu items, such as handmade dumplings and buns.

The restaurant “soft opened” on July 1 and will be open with limited hours from 3-8 p.m. through July 4. However, July 5 will be the grand opening event for the restaurant, which will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
