Bridge Senior Living completed six-month, multimillion-dollar renovation projects at its two Metro Atlanta communities, Somerby Sandy Springs and Somerby Peachtree City.
The community rejuvenations kicked off in spring 2024 with a focus on enhancements to key living areas. The projects wrapped up in time for Labor Day Weekend, according to a news release.
“A team of several dozen contributors collaborated to enhance the beauty of these communities for Atlanta based Somerby residents,” said Bridge Senior Living Chief Asset Officer, Caryl Barnes.
Bridge Senior Living collaborated with Braemar Partners, which also engaged B2 Architecture & Design for interior design and Diamond Property Consulting as the general contractor.
At Somerby Sandy Springs (25 Glenlake Parkway N.E.), contractors upgraded common spaces across the independent living and assisting living areas, including the dining room with a newly installed bar/lounge, beauty salon, lobbies, living rooms, library, bistro, arts and game room and club room. The news release said the community’s assisted living areas were updated, including the dining room, lobby, library/media room, living room, salon, multi-purpose room, theater and creative arts room.
At Somerby Peachtree City (200 Rock-A-Way Road), the rejuvenation focused on common spaces throughout the community.
Somerby Sandy Springs residents, their families, team members, and prospective residents will celebrate the renovations with a special “Somerby Soiree” event on Oct. 2. Somerby Peachtree City will celebrate on Oct. 1. The Somerby Soiree events are open to the public with advance RSVP requested.
