Atlanta’s Epicurean is hosting a “Cheese Please” multi-course dinner tonight at 6:30 p.m. Expect cheese selections from Sweet Grass Dairy and wine from Stoller Family EstateTickets can be purchased here.
 
With the successful launch of Biggby Coffee in Roswell, an additional ten locations are now under consideration for the Atlanta area, including three currently under development in Pooler, Cobb County, and Clarke County. Stay tuned to their Instagram for more
 
Nourish Botanica, the brainchild of owner Quianah Upton, has opened a second location at Ponce City Market. Dubbed Kiki the Kiosk, plants, dried flowers, and fresh flowers will all be available every weekend, with hours from Wed. through Sun. from noon until 6 p.m.
 
Hey, Westside! Get ready for a night of rum, hand-rolled cigars, dancing, and coastal Latin-inspired cuisine at Gezzo’s Coastal Cantina on Thurs., Aug. 15. Chef Cam Floyd will feature a build-your-own ceviche bar in addition to a three-course meal paired with five craft cocktails. Make your reservations here
 
Summerhill’s Wood’s Chapel BBQ is throwing a Luau Party on Sat., Aug. 17, from 5-8 p.m. Expect a whole hog roast, huli-huli chicken, macaroni salad, paradise fried rice, Hawaiian cowboy caviar, and a Hawaiian roll all for $26.95. Tiki slushies, Mai Tais, and desserts like coconut cream puffs and pineapple oatmeal cream pie are also part of the celebration.
 
While Resy is celebrating its 10th anniversary nationwide, be sure to check out perks at select restaurants in Atlanta. Starting Mon. Over 800 people gathered for the 13th annual Attack of the Killer Tomato Festival (AKTF), hosted by Georgia Organics in July at Westside Motor Lounge. The event celebrated collaborations between Atlanta restaurants and over 16 of Georgia’s organic farmers. “Best Dish” went to Bread & Butterfly for their imaginative spin on a tomato biscuit, while “Best Cocktail” went to SamWitch Shop for a tomato jello shot with a layer of green tomato gelee. 
 
During August, Atlanta locations of Sugar Shane’s are featuring a new cookie called the Fosterdoodle. Partnering with Georgia Kids Belong,100% of proceeds from the Snickerdoodle creation will go toward improving experiences and outcomes for kids and families in Georgia’s foster system.
 
With gold, silver, and bronze talk in the air, Atlanta-based Tip Top Proper Cocktails also took home six medals after the 2024 New Orleans Spirits Competition last month. Plus, they recently launched a new ready-to-enjoy cocktail called the Naked and Famous – their first Mezcal-based drink. 

The Heisenberger from NFA Burger

 We are not gatekeeping this one. Did you know that Dunwoody’s NFA Burger (pictured) has an off-menu burger called the Heisenberger? Inspired by the “Breaking Bad” series, it features a double-stack smashed cheeseburger with mustard and New Mexico hatch green chiles, all served between an inverted buttered and toasted potato roll bun.
 
Martinis and caviar anyone? This Sun., Aug. 11 at 2:30 p.m., Chamblee’s Distillery of Modern Art (DoMA) is hosting a workshop featuring caviar pairings along with cocktail offerings and a white chocolate dessert. Reserve your tickets here
