26-year-old man dies after being shot in Brooklyn, NYPD says


A 26-year-old man died on Tuesday after being shot multiple times in Brooklyn, the NYPD said.

The man, who was not identified, was shot in the neck and stomach around 4 p.m. near 105 Rogers Ave. in Crown Heights, police said. Officials said he was taken to Kings County hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

At the scene on Tuesday evening there were multiple shell casing markers. An amber bottle was also seen on the ground along with glasses near a puddle of blood on the sidewalk.

There were no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing, authorities said.
