2. Babe Walls mural festival to highlight female, nonbinary artists
šØ The walls of the Chamblee Rail Trail are about to get a splash of color.Ā
Babe Walls, a nonprofit arts organization that coordinates mural festivals featuring female and nonbinary artists, is bringing their celebration of public art from Colorado to Chamblee next month.
Artist and Babe Walls Executive Director Alexandrea Pangburn (pictured) recently took the time to chat with Sketchbook curator Isadora Pennington about the festival: why it started, how it evolved, and what you can expect to see during the local debut taking place from Nov. 7-10.

3. Hezbollah strikes Israeli army base; Womenās world record at Chicago Marathon
š®š±š±š§ AĀ Hezbollah drone strike killed four Israeli soldiersĀ at a central Israel army base this morning. The group said it was in retaliation for recent Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon. TheĀ U.S. said it wouldĀ send troops to IsraelĀ to operate a Terminal High Altitude Area Defense system, or THAAD, to help defend against Iranian missile attacks.
